How We Price Our Work

Every manuscript is different, which means pricing isn't one-size-fits-all. What we offer below are honest starting points — ranges and flat rates that reflect the real scope of each service. For complex or longer projects, we always provide a custom quote before any work begins.

We believe in full transparency: you'll receive a clear, itemized proposal before we start, and there will be no additional charges unless the scope of work changes with your agreement.

The prices listed are starting points. Final pricing is always confirmed in a written proposal before any work begins. Longer manuscripts, tighter deadlines, or additional complexity may affect the cost — and we will always tell you why.

Yes. We require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the remainder due on delivery. For larger projects, we can discuss staged payments aligned to project milestones.

All prices are in Canadian dollars (CAD). If you're based outside Canada, we're happy to quote in USD on request. Exchange rates are applied at the time of invoicing.

Absolutely. Many of our authors begin with editing, then return for design and publishing once the manuscript is ready. We're happy to work in phases — and returning clients receive priority scheduling.

Scope changes happen. If additional work is needed beyond the original agreement, we'll discuss it openly and provide a revised estimate before proceeding. Nothing is added to your invoice without your approval.

Yes — packages include exactly what's listed, with nothing hidden. If your project requires something slightly different, we can adjust the package scope and price accordingly in your proposal.
