All prices are listed in CAD. The ranges below reflect typical scope for a standard manuscript. Longer books, complex non-fiction, tighter timelines, or projects requiring additional rounds may scale beyond these ranges — and we'll always tell you why before any work begins.

The prices listed are ranges for a standard 70,000-word manuscript. Final pricing is always confirmed in a written proposal before any work begins. Longer manuscripts, tighter deadlines, or additional complexity may affect the cost — and we will always tell you why.
The lower end of each range applies to clean, well-prepared manuscripts of standard length and complexity. The upper end applies to longer books, complex non-fiction with references or images, manuscripts requiring substantial work, or projects with tighter timelines. Most genre fiction at standard length lands near the middle of each range.
Yes. We require a 50% deposit before work begins, with the remainder due on delivery. For larger projects, we can discuss staged payments aligned to project milestones.

Yes. For full-production projects (editing through distribution), we'll often build a custom package that reflects what your book actually needs and offer a meaningful saving against the individual service prices. Just ask.
For larger projects, we can stage payments across milestones so the cost is spread over the production timeline. We're a small press serving real authors with real budgets — we'd rather work with you on the schedule than lose the project.
If your book is mostly ready and just needs one or two stages, we'll quote only those stages. We'll never sell you a full package when half of it isn't needed. Tell us what you have and we'll tell you honestly what your book still needs.

Applicable Canadian sales taxes (GST/HST) are added to invoices for Canadian clients based on your province. USD pricing reflects our standard cross-border rate and is locked in at the time of quoting.
